Facts you should know about Vitamin B

Why is it unlikely a person will overdose on vitamin B and C?

I’m having some trouble finding the answer on the internet and I have no book source! Does anyone know why this is? and is it possible that you still can overdose?

They are water-soluble vitamins and as such are much more easily flushed out of the system if you have too much in your diet.

What are some good suggestions of foods that are rich in vitamin B?

basically  need to need to consume more vitamin B because my lips are getting cracked….particularly at the corners of my mouth….where should i start?
if anyone has faced or experience similar issues…i would really appreciate your input

There are many B vitamins, and each of the foods for them are quite different.

You might do well with vitamin B2 (riboflavin) for cracked lips.

The vitamin B family has many benefits; so including vitamin B rich foods is always a smart move when planning your diet. In addition to being an immune system booster, keeping the brain in shape and maintaining healthy skin, recent research shows vitamin B can even aid in weight loss efforts.

Is vitamin B 12 as beneficial when taken by mouth as it is taking by a shot?

I have thalassemia my haemaglobin is low and the doctor gave me a B 12 shot I have B 12 5000 mcg vitamins would they help?

B12 is absorbed in the gut in the presence of intrinsic factor, providing you have a functioning gut ( and I assume you do) oral B12 would be fine. A shot of B12 is for rapid dissemination.

B12 is a vitamin that is absorbed by the part of the small intestine called the ileum. Some people who have had part of their small intestine removed or if the ileum is diseased, B12 cannot be sufficiently absorbed. Your doctor probably gave you a B12 shot to ensure that B12 is immediately available for your body to utilize. This does not mean that you cannot still take oral B12 supplements if your intestines are intact and functioning properly.

Vitamin b complex for loosing weight?

hello, can anybody tell me,whether i can use vitamin b complex for the purpose of loosing my weight.

if yes, how the instruction to take it, whether to take it before or after meal.

Even though, vitamin B complex will help you against constipation, which is an important factor if you want to lose weight, but it doesn’t directly cause you to lose it.
The best way to lose weight is discipline toward smaller portions (3-6 times/day, breakfast, lunch, dinner included) of food, lots of veggies, low protein, high fiber diet, and absolutely no eating after 8pm

Does vitamin B really make your hair grow faster?

Yea but get Biotin its made for hair and nails

Can anyone tell me about Vitamin B?

In your own words (since google always sends me HERE) what kind of foods contain different types of Vitamin B, specifically food sources that don’t require a large quantity just to get a good amount. Like, someone said Tuna is a source of Iron, I look on the nutritional facts and it’s 4% per can, well I just bought a Vitamin B super complex vitamin bottle and I want to make sure I don’t O.D. on any of the vitamins I’m taking in pill-form now. Also, is it safe to take Iron pills along with the multi-vitamin B pill?

Vitamin C – 150mg – 250% (can I still eat apples?)
Vitamin B1 – 100mg – 6667% (woah!)
Vitamin B2 – 20mg – 1176% (what happens when I got over 100%?)
Vitamin B3 – 25mg – 125% (that’s more like it)
Vitamin B6 – 2mg – 100%
Vitamin B12 – 15mcg – 250%
Folic Acid – 400mcg – 100% (dont know what that is)
Biotin – 3.8mcg – 1%
Pantothenic Acid – 5mcg – 50%

It smells terrible, I assume I swallow and not chew. Doesn’t say to on the bottle anywhere.

You can overdose on B vitamins.. it just comes out in your urine.
Yes it is safe to take Iron with Vitamin B complex.. make sure you take Vitamin C at lease 200mg with you Iron as it helps the body to absorb the Iron.

The amounts you have written above are a standard B complex vitamin.
You swallow the pills, you don’t chew them lol.

Take your iron in the morning with a glass of orange juice.
increase Fibre intake etc… grains while taking iron as it may cause constipation

St. Johns Wort vs Vitamin B-complex?

I know both of these are often recommended for depression & anxiety, but i’m trying to figure out which of these will be the best.

I’m a 21 year old female and have been struggling with anxiety my whole life. Depression has also gotten hold of me every now and then. I don’t feel like it’s THAT bad that I actually need to see a doctor…. I just need a little help. So, I’m trying to find a natural solution.

So, I have a choice between St. John’s Wort and Vitamin B-complex. According to the internet, both works really well. But Vitamin B-complex seems to be a lot safer than St. John’s Wort.

Does anyone have experience with taking these 2 supplements?

I need something that will be safe with most other vitamins and medication… I don’t really want to worry all the time whether a combination of this and something else will be a bad thing. I also want something that will be completely safe on a long term basis. I was on anti depressants only once before, and promised myself never again… cause I felt like the pills were controlling me… I felt like a robot with no emotions. So, I want a natural product that won’t have these effects. Something that I can drink in the long run that will be really safe and will still let me be me.

Which do you recommend?

My name is Rich and I too asked the same question. In my search I became fed up with a lot of the products and resources out there. In my search I created a project called Project: I Wanna Live Again. On this site there are tons of free articles and resources to help you combat anxiety. You will also find a completely natural anxiety supplement on my site that I think is good for you. You can even try it free for 14 days! Visit the site below for help!
